Terminal 21 brings the dream of traveling the world to downtown Bangkok,
with its cutting-edge concept that places several world-famous cities under one roof.
The nine floors at Terminal 21 house some 600 shops, a Cineplex,
Gourmet Market (supermarket) and a food court with
all kinds of mouthwatering Thai and international fare.

Opening Hours: 10:00-22:00
Location: Sukhumvit Road (between Soi 19 and 21)
MRT: Sukhumvit

the most attractive mall in town!
and a must visit mall whenever you in Bangkok

Day 2 - 13 September 2015

I can consider that today is our baddest day in Bangkok
took these expensive and costly fast boat to Old town area

WARNING
there will be scam tuk tuk infront of the BTS/MRT train station and please be careful
we took train from Ramkhamhaeng to National Stadium station
from National stadium station we kind of a little bit confuse on how to go to old town
so we decided to ask the tuk tuk driver and
turned out it actually a scam tuk tuk who are waiting for a victim and we are one of them
we ask them to sent us to old town, where they want to charged us 300THB for a ride
it is expensinve, we did asked for mark down the price but they refused to do so
and give 1001 excuses
traffic jammed, far from station and bla bla bla
then suddenly they suggest about the fast boat trip which cost 1500THB per ride
which included fish feeding, sight seeing, and will take 1 hour trip to old town
without think any longer we accept the offer and they took us to their private pier
what a sad thing is, there is no fish feeding activies as been told,
just a few sight seeing and the ride only took 30 minutes
what a wasted!
so please be careful with the tuk tuk guys!

Total cost : 1500THB

Finally we arrived old town
and have our first visit to Wat Pho

"Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple complex inPhra Nakhon district, Bangkok.
Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
The temple is the first in the list of six temples in Thailand classed as the highest
grade of the first class Royal temples.
It is associated with King Rama I who rebuilt the temple complex on an earlier temple site,
and became his main temple where some of his ashes are enshrined." - wikitravel

Our skin burnt due to hot weather and luckily they have plenty of cold water dispenser
around the wat

it tooks more than 2 hours to visit the wat, what a big place!
and because of it we are missed to visit the grand palace and the national museum

National museum closed every monday

Day 3 - 14 September 2015

Learnt from yesterday mistake
now we know how to go to old town by the cheapest and awesome transport
we have to go back to old town cos we missed to visit the grand palace yesterday
so here we are again!

Took MRT to Hua Lamphong station and walk to the south pier

But since most of Bangkok’s main attractions are on the main river,
Chao Praya, you can just use regular boats.
We bought single tickets each trip  cost at 40 THB/trip

Now you have a ticket. Now hop on and join the crowd and start exploring.
It’s super easy. The piers are marked with both names and numbers,
which is very tourist-friendly. The most interesting sights are in the area between Pier 1 and 10.
The only thing that needs some thinking is that not all ferry lines stop at every pier.
There are several different lines marked with different colors which is a bit confusing.
We sometimes missed a pier since the ferry didn’t stop there,
but in that case you can just take another ferry and return.

and here we are
The Grand Palace!

"The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok,Thailand.
The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782.
The king, his court and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925.
The present monarch, King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX),
currently resides at Chitralada Palace, but the Grand Palace is still used for official events.
Several royal ceremonies and state functions are held within the walls of the palace every year.
The palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand." - wikitravel

Entrance fee : 500THB per person

We spend 3 hours in there, lots to discover

Total cost : 1000THB

"What is today called "Thai massage" or "Thai yoga massage" is an ancient healing system
combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures." - wikitravel

Murah, sedap, berbaloi

Full body massage for 1 hour only 250THB
They have men masseuse, no worries :)

Total Cost : 500THB

Bangkok Seafood Market

We just can't get over it. Thai blood runs in our veins.
Thai food sedap la khaaaa

1. Seafood tomyam
2. Seafood tempura
3. Water mimosa with tiger prawn

 Total cost : 920THB

Sedap!

End the day with awesome-breath taking view of Chao Praya river

Day 4 - 15 September 2015

Gonna miss Bangkok, Pattaya,
the tuktuk scammers,
that tuktuk lady,
those ladyboys on stage,
the great hotel in Pattaya,
the "hotel california" hotel in Bangkok,
the food,
the train,
the strictness of their people,
their tongue language,
their rude manners,
their fair & flawless skin,
their boat & those boat scammers,
and a lot more memories we gain in our week long vacay.
may we have the opportunity to meet again in the future.
farewell neighbor.

nice deep nap in flight way back home

till then
XOXO
