manglish means MALAY + ENGLISH
and in malay it called as bahasa ROJAK

its is widely use, even ya! i know its not good but its fine actually
as long as people UNDERSTAND what are you trying to say

and actually manglish can be our STARTER point or the FIRST lesson on how to speak in english
even you are using BROKEN english or DIRECT translate it

hmmm manglish? not good.
There are certain individuals which hate manglish.. they said it could effect the usage of proper malay.. for me that just pedantic statement just to show their superiority in language.
But actually manglish is just another slang like kelantenese and such.. i know some chinese and indian which speak manglish not because the thought it cool or what, but because that the way they talk and they proud of it. And most of them can speak english and malay properly.
So it will not diminish the proper usage of malay, in fact it could be a steeping stone to speak a better malay language.
